Horrorós, pel meu gust. Fatal. No és una cançó per ser coreografiada, o sigui que la interpretació comença malament ja des que sona el primer acord de la cançó. L’entonació no és la correcta, ni tan sols la pronunciació de l’anglès. A més, és una cançó que requereix entendre la lletra, saber què significa… I ells no en tenen ni idea.

M’agrada moltíssim Bruce Springsteen, però aixó és un atemptat contra la música i contra els grans himnes del rock… M’he quedat sense paraules, la veritat.

Segons l’article a la Viquipèdia catalana, Mazoni és el nom artístic de Jaume Pla, tot i que abans havia format grup amb Carles Sanjosé (que actualment forma Sanjosex).

I avui una proposta que ja fa temps que corre pel món. Tegan & Sara, dues bessones idèntiques de Canadà ens fan arribar un rock/pop indie bastant interessant. Aquesta cançó, precisament, ve lligada de la mà amb una de les sèries que més èxit estant tenint actualment, Grey’s Anatomy o Anatomía de Grey, i la podeu trobar a l’Spotify.

El grup

First Aid Kit va néixer el 2004 de les mans de Carles Querol i Agnès Aran. Ella canta i ell s’encarrega de l’acompanyament. El directe el duen a terme conjumtament amb Oriol Mayol,al teclat,  i Albert Aran a la bateria.

 La música, definida pels propis autors com a un “pop-electrònic bastant assequible i molt instrumentat”, és senzillament espectecular. Dins del segon disc, “Plaits” (Trenes) (2008) hi trobem temes tant interessants com “Truth can hurt“, “Valse“o la mateixa “Mr. Tea Pot”, cançons que d’una manera innovadora aconsegueixen crear un clima de relax total. 

La cançó

Des de Marrameu ens ha estat difícil triar només una cançó d’aquest segon disc, totalment recomenable. Ens hem decantat Mr. Tea Pot potser pel dia grisós que fa i perquè senzillament és una cançó que a part del clima de relax comentat, transmet molt.

El Grup

Great Lake Swimmers és una banda canadenca de folk-rock creada pel cantautor Tony Dekker, originària de Wainfleet, Ontario. Actualment està formada pel mateix Tony Dekker a la primera veu, guitarra i harmònica, Erik Arneson al banjo i a la guitarra elèctrica, Greg Millson com a bateria, Darcy Iots al baix i Julie Fader al teclat.

La seva cançó Your Rocky Spine va ser presentada a la tercera temporada del Showtime’s Weeds. El seu últim àlbum Lost Channels va ser presentat el 31 de Març d’aquest mateix 2009, un àlbum carregat de bona música que val molt la pena.

La Cançó

Your Rocky Spine ens transmet un aire místic d’una manera tant directa que costa de creure. El banjo inicial i la melodia  ordenada ens transporten a terres gèlides des d’on al llarg de la cançó se’ns comparen amb la bellesa del cos de cada amant.
